Spring Arts Fest 2019 1st June 2019, 12pm to 7pm

We are delighted to welcome you all to this years Spring Arts Fest, our second festival.

This year we are proud to have over 35 different traders, FREE live entertainment all afternoon and into the evening, a mini fun fair for the smaller ones, our brand new Food Stretch and more to enjoy across the festival site. With the vision of bringing young people, families and the community together, we are excited to be able to host this event at our new site of Kings Park, Bournemouth.

We have teamed up with local bus company and UK bus operator of the year for two years running, morebus, and a local music provider, Absolute Music Trust. We are also supporting Amelia’s Rainbow, our 2019 event charity.

Our programme will also be available on the day from our main gazebo and festival makers for £1 with 50% of every purchase going to our event charity.

Food Stretch

We are excited to have up-to 45 different traders & our brand new food stretch all offering something for everyone with plenty of variety.

FREE Live Entertainment 

We have a full free live entertainment programme on our main stage from 12.30pm until 7pm taking place every half an hour. 

Visit the mini fun fair area at 12pm and 4pm for Mascot Appearances. Don't forget your camera!

Mini Funfair for the Children

We are excited to announce that we will have a mini funfair including small children's rides, inflatables, penalty shoot out, bungee trampolines, games and donuts.


Please note that there will be a small charge per ride / attraction.

Other attractions and things to do including Arts & Crafts with morebus, small disco for all and fun and games with Little Gizmos Entertainment, picnic area in front of the main stage, Bournemouth East Police and much more across the festival site.

M2 - From Southbourne or Bournemouth (walk from Boscombe Bus Station)

Parking is available in the Kings Park car park (BH7 7AF) from £1 for one hour of parking. 


There is also coach and truck parking available near the main car park from £4 for four hours of parking.

Travel by Train 

Travel with South Western Railway to the festival site by train from London Waterloo, Southampton, Christchurch, Dorchester or Weymouth to either Pokesdown or Bournemouth station and travel with morebus to the festival site.

Travel by bus from Bournemouth Station by taking a short walk to Lansdowne and then catching the morebus M2 to Boscombe Bus Station or X3 to the Kings Park bus stop

What time is the festival site open from?

The festival site is open from 12pm to 7pm on Saturday 1st June 2019.

Is there a programme available?

After feedback, we are excited to announce that we do have a programme available this year. Available at £1 and with 50% going to our event charity, Amelia's Rainbow, it has our live performance schedule, traders, offers and more within the programme. Buy from our main info tent or from our festival makers across the site.

Can I bring dogs/guide dogs to the festival site?

Friendly dogs, on dog leads, are welcome onto the festival site but please make sure that you clean up after your furry friend and use the bins provided around the site.

Is there a lost and found for children?

We will have a gazebo near the main entrance to the festival site (Bournemouth Indoor Bowls Club end of the Food Stretch). We recommend showing your child where the main tent / lost children tent is on arrival to the site.

Where is the best place to park?

We recommend parking in the main Kings Park car park. Alternatively, you can park in the town centre and take a short walk or cycle to the festival site.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes you can but please use the bins provided for your rubbish. There will be a selection of food available on site in our brand new, Food Stretch.

Is there a cash point located at the festival site?

Sadly there is no cash point at the festival site. We would recommend bringing cash with you but alternatively Boscombe and Springbourne are close by and both have cash points available.

Is the event free?

Entrance to the event is free but traders and activities around the site may charge. There is free entertainment from 12.30pm until 7pm. If you are able to, please donate to our event charity, Amelia's Rainbow, in the buckets around the festival site or by purchasing our 2019 programme.

How can I get to the festival site?

We recommend getting the bus, morebus routes M2, U3 or X3 all go near the festival site, walking or cycling but there is the Kings Park car park which can be parked in from £1 for one hour of parking.

Will you be selling alcohol / is alcohol allowed on site?

We will not have any alcohol being sold on site and we would prefer alcohol to not be brought onto the festival site at any time due the festival being family friendly and during the day time.

Is smoking allowed on site?

We would appreciate if all smoking could take place off the site including e-cigarettes. No smoking should take place in food stretch, our mini funfair or live entertainment area. Please be considerate to others.
